October saw the last of our summer harvesting - piles of cucumbers, a handful of zucchini, and some delicious butternut squash (roasted/burned seeds pictured here). We had a final round of canned tomatoes and some herbs to dry before the first snow today. Another fun favorite? Orange, yellow, and red zinnias hung on even through the freeze today - we started mid-summer with a bunch of purple, pink, and yellow zinnias, and now they’ve transitioned to vibrant yellow, red, and orange blooms. 🎃🍂 #eppersonhomestead #butternutsquash #october #fallharvest #zinnias
